Playing with shapes in Photoshop
In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial I will play with shapes, and merge them together into one button or other web graphic which you can easliy apply styles, gradient etc to.

Start by drawing a rectangle with the rounded rectangle tool on the stage as shown below.

In the layers panel right click our rectangle and choose rasterize layer.
With the elliptical selecion tool, select and delete one half of our rectangle as shown below.

Now locate the fire shape within Photoshop custom shape tab an draw it on the stage too.

Draw a couple of them and place them on top of our rectangle so they looks like spikes on the shape, you might want to rotate them a bit to follow the angle of our cut rectangle.

In the layers panel select all the layers we just made, except the background layer of cause. Now right click and choose merge layers, so now we have one layer with our custom made shape.
Double click the shape layer in the layers panel to get to the layers style panel and give it settings as shown below.

Now you can put in yet another one of those fire custom shapes from the custom shapes panel, make it white, place it and rotate it as I did below.

Go to the layers styles panel and give it settings as below, then we should be done.
