Make a cloudy logo in Photoshop
I have been playing around with some basic logo designs for a web site template I made, usually I get around making 10 different designs in half an hour, I'm not going to reveal the end result here yet, but I made a tutorial on how I made one of my logo designs in Photoshop.
So in this tutorial you will see how to make a cloud theme logo design in Adobe Photoshop in just a few simple steps.
First step is to make the base of our cloud, what I did was to use the elliptical selection tool with selection mode to "add to selection" then just drag some circles on top of each other as shown in the image below.
In an empty layer fill the selection with white, and how we got our shape.
Go to the layers panel and double click the cloud layer to get to the layers styles panel and give it settings as shown below.
Now we will make a little cast shadow on the ground, so with the elliptical selection tool drag out a selection as shown below, and fill it with black.
Go to filters -> blur -> motion blur and give it a blur with settings as below, then bring down the layers opacity to about half.
Now we will write some text in our cloud for our logo, I found a font that reminded me a bit of clouds called Showcard Gothic, or you can find some other font your self.
Write the text within our could, and go to layers styles panel and give it settings as shown below.
