Splatter text effect
Now we will make a funny looking splatter text effect with adobe photoshop, just take a look below to see what I mean.
First type in the text you want to apply this effect to with the text tool, make sure to use a big font.
In the layers panel, right click the text layer and choose rasterize layer.
Select the smudge tool with a quite big brush size (about the same as the text font size), and smudge the edges as I did below.
Hold down ctrl key and click the text layer to load the text selection, then give it a gradient like below.
Go to filter -> filter gallery and locate the filter called texturizer and set it as shown below.
In the layers panel double click the top text layer and give it styles settings as shown below.
And we are done!
